THE DESIGN IN THE EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR OF THE BMW M235i xDRIVE GRAN COUPÉ.
Inside sporty, outside athletic: the BMW M235i xDrive Gran Coupé displays its uncompromising dynamics in every detail. Not least thanks to the M aerodynamics package as well as exclusive M highlights in Cerium Grey. Distinctive features like the BMW kidney grille in mesh design, the free-form trims on the exhaust system or the M rear spoiler complement the muscular shape and contours of the sports coupé, while features such as the M Sport seats or the M pedals trim the ambience in the interior for maximum performance.

BMW kidney grille in mesh design.
The BMW kidney grille in mesh design is completely finished in Cerium Grey and has an elaborately designed grid inside. This grid structure, inspired by racing, lends depth and value to the front and sets a high-quality and dynamic accent in the details.
M Aerodynamics package.
The M Aerodynamics package with M specific front apron, rear apron and side skirt trim communicates pure dynamics, highlighting the vehicle's athletic character. The trim portions are painted in the body colour and feature inserts in Dark Shadow. On the BMW M235i, the inserts are finished in Black high-gloss.
M rear spoiler.
The M rear spoiler emphasises the vehicle's athletic silhouette and reduces unwanted aerodynamic uplift. By producing downforce on the rear axle, it provides the vehicle with greater driving stability.
M specific exhaust system.
With its minimal counter-pressure, the M specific exhaust system on both sides supports the mighty power development of the engine. Its distinctive sound can be controlled via the integrated exhaust valve mechanism and underlines the sporty appeal of the vehicle. The free-form tailpipe trim strips in Cerium Grey set visual highlights.
M sports seats.
The M Sport seats with integrated headrests offer the driver and front passenger excellent lateral support with their deep seats and high side bolsters.
M seat belts.
The M seat belts with belt tensioner and belt force limiter boast an exquisite stitching in the classic M colours and emphasise the high-quality and sporty ambience in the interior.
M injection-moulded steering wheel.
The M injection-moulded steering wheel with multifunction buttons, an M badge and an integrated driver-side airbag is featured in three-spoke design. With a injection-moulded steering wheel rim and contoured thumb rests, it provides a direct, athletic steering experience.
Interior trim finishers 'Illuminated Brooklyn'.
The interior trim finishers 'Illuminated Brooklyn' with 'Triangle' accent on the dashboard and door trim lend the interior a progressive ambience with a high sense of value. The shimmering pattern of the discreetly backlit finishers creates both an attractive as well as a pleasant atmosphere in the vehicle.

With M Sports steering, 8-speed Steptronic transmission and M Sport suspension, the BMW M 235i xDrive Gran Coupé takes the fast lane in its segment. In combination with the powerful and extremely efficient TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder inline petrol engine, its sets itself apart from the crowd with ease and delivers outstanding self-assuredness on every route.
M Sport suspension.
M Sport suspension lowers the vehicle by approximately ten millimetres. It also features shorter suspension springs and tighter damper settings, as well as harder stabilisers. Combined together, they result in an even more direct suspension design, which enables a distinctly sporty driving style.
M Sport brake.
The M Sport brake has four-piston fixed callipers at the front and single-piston floating callipers at the rear in blue with the M designation and features large brake discs to ensure an outstanding braking performance.
BMW M235i xDrive.
A top athlete conveying pure driving pleasure: the M TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder inline petrol engine in the BMW M235i is particularly powerful because it is equipped with new pistons, a larger turbocharger, optimised intake air routing, a high-performance cooling package and a valve-operated M exhaust system.
M Sports steering.
The M Sports steering with Servotronic creates a direct and agile steering response and reduces steering effort. Your vehicle can be directed more precisely, offering highly athletic handling characteristics, particularly on winding roads.

The BMW M235i xDrive Gran Coupé puts on a technically progressive display down to the finest detail. Innovative driver assistance systems such as the Reversing Assistant support you during the journey while the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant takes communication between driver and vehicle to the next level and the Digital Key provides greater convenience by allowing the doors to be locked and unlocked via smartphone.

Driving Assistant.
The safety package Driving Assistant includes the camera-based systems front collision warning with braking function, Speed Limit Assist incl. Speed Limit Info with No-overtaking indicator with preview and Lane Departure Warning. Additionally, the radar-based equipment includes Crossing traffic warning rear, Lane Change Warning and Rear collision warning.
Parking Assistant.
Parking Assistant makes parking the vehicle easier. The Rear View camera provides a clearer view behind the vehicle. Active Park Distance Control offers increased protection against damage caused by parking. Parking Assistant parks the vehicle automatically, parallel or perpendicular to the street, and leaves parallel parking spaces. The Reversing Assistant supports you when reversing, e.g. in narrow lanes.
Active cruise control.
Active cruise control with Stop&Go function maintains within a speed range of 30 to 160 km/h a pre-defined distance from the vehicle ahead, including stopping and restarting in stop-and-go traffic. Speed Limit Assist allows the takeover of speed limits in the cruise control. The front collision warning with braking intervention reacts to stationary vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists.
BMW Live Cockpit Professional.
The BMW Live Cockpit Professional with navigation function includes two high-quality displays consisting of a high-resolution 10.25" Control Display that can be operated by touch and a fully digital 10.25" instrument display. The BMW Operating System 7 can also be operated via the iDrive Touch Controller.
BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant.
"Hey BMW, I'm hungry." Your BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant will find the closest restaurant and immediately plan the route. But it can do so much more. Your BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant will assist you with regard to vehicle functions. And clearly explain useful features. It helps you to simply and intuitively operate your BMW.
Remote Software Upgrade.
This keeps your BMW up to date. The Remote Software Upgrades can be downloaded via the My BMW app or in the vehicle and then installed.
Smartphone Integration.
Why go without the features of your smartphone in your BMW when you can continue operating it as usual? Smartphone integration connects your smartphone wirelessly to your vehicle via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This allows you to conveniently use functions and various apps directly via the control display.
BMW Digital Key.
The BMW Digital Key turns your compatible smartphone* into a vehicle key. To unlock, simply hold the smartphone next to the door handle; before starting your BMW place it on the smartphone tray. In addition, you can send a Digital Key to up to five friends, and even limit the maximum speed, for example – ideal for novice drivers.
