    Get the most out of every journey with the new Gen6 eDrive technology. In the BMW i3 50 xDrive Sedan, two electric motors power the vehicle with up to 345 kW (469 hp)¹. The completely new generation of high-voltage batteries with 800-volt technology enables ultra-fast DC charging capacities of up to 400 kW¹, ⁴. This allows you to recharge enough energy in just 10 minutes to cover a distance of up to 400 km¹, ⁵. And the new BMW i3 can not only charge itself particularly quickly, but can also be used in a variety of ways as an energy storage device or mobile power bank thanks to bidirectional charging – offering complete flexibility, whether at home or on the road.
