Electric drive, intelligent control.

The BMW iX3 is powered by two specially designed 800 V electric motors featuring Gen6 eDrive technology. Positioned at the front and rear axles, these motors engage during acceleration and braking, precisely delivering the necessary power according to your needs and the driving conditions. This intelligent all-wheel drive system enables dynamic, efficient driving pleasure, even on challenging terrain.

Innovative battery technology.

With a system voltage of 800 V, energy-dense lithium-ion round cells and innovative integration, the sixth-generation batteries offer increased energy storage and rapid charging capabilities. Thanks to the chassis architecture, they are securely and compactly installed in the vehicle's underbody.

The product carbon footprint over its life cycle is 34 per cent smaller than its predecessor.¹⁰ We use secondary materials and systematically apply the principles of “Design for Circularity”. As a result, around one third of the new BMW iX3 50 xDrive is made from secondary raw materials. The yarn for the Econeer seat covers, the center console, and the instrument panel have been developed with focus on circularity.
