Highway Assistant.

The Highway Assistant, available as an option in select countries, can maintain a speed of up to 130 km/h and manage your distance from the vehicle ahead if you wish. It is even capable of changing lanes. Once the system is ready, you can take your hands off the steering wheel, as long as you remain attentive to the traffic and are ready to take control if needed. Active navigation even makes highway exits easier to navigate, prompting you to change lanes in good time and even allowing you to confirm the manoeuvre simply by checking the exterior mirror.⁸

Driving Assistant Plus.

The optional Driving Assistant Plus supports and relieves you while steering and braking. Upon request, it regulates speed and distance to the vehicle in front and helps you keep your BMW in its lane. The system automatically adjusts to detected speed limits and even slows down when approaching bends, roundabouts and junctions.

Parking Assistant Plus and Parking Assistant Professional.

Park safely and effortlessly, even in the tightest spaces, with a 360° view. The optional Parking Assistant Plus provides enhanced parking views, allowing you to monitor all sides of the vehicle. You can save repeated parking manoeuvres and execute them semi-automatically at any time. What’s more, with the Parking Assistant Professional and the My BMW App, you can even perform these actions remotely from your smartphone.

BMW Symbiotic Drive provides seamless support.

With Symbitotic Drive, the new BMW iX3 is creating a new level of driving experience in combination with driver assistance systems. The driver's desire to accelerate, brake, or steer merges seamlessly and intuitively with the AI-supported software at all times, creating sheer driving pleasure. Many of these driver assistance features are already included in basic and standard equipment.⁹
